Terms & Conditions

Your pets & home are important to me. I do not take the responsibility of caring for them lightly. These policies are in place so I can serve you to the best of my ability.

EMERGENCY CONTACT

While on vacation or not available it may be to your advantage to have a local emergency contact person that can provide a key or a way of entry in the event our keys or lock box code does not work or if you failed to provide us with such (please see our Locksmith Clause below under HOUSE KEYS). The client must also provide From Our Paws to Yours with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

If a medical emergency arises, From Our Paws to Yours will make every effort to contact the Client or local contact person before seeking medical treatment for the pet(s). However, if time is of the essence or From Our Paws to Yours is unable to reach Client, Client authorizes From Our Paws to Yours to take the pet(s) to the nearest veterinary hospital or if time allows, to the Clients chosen hospital for treatment. Client agrees to reimburse From Our Paws to Yours for all services rendered to the pet(s) should such a medical emergency arise. Client releases From Our Paws to Yours from any and all liabilities related to transportation, treatment and expenses.

From Our Paws to Yours will care for your animal as you would, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure your pet(s) is/are well looked after in your absence, From Our Paws to Yours cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in From Our Paws to Yours care.

Under no circumstances will From Our Paws to Yours provide service to any pet that has any form of contagious illness. We require that all pets have the necessary vaccinations, immunizations, and flea and tick treatments before the start of any service.

HOUSE KEYS

These keys can be given directly to From Our Paws to Yours or be provided through use of a coded lock box attached to one of the homes outer doors. Locksmith Clause – You are on vacation or the emergency contact is not available. In the event that From Our Paws to Yours is required to employ a locksmith to gain entry into Client’s premises due to a malfunction of the lock or a failure of the Client to leave a key, it shall be the responsibility of the Client to reimburse for all costs incurred. The Client expressly gives From Our Paws to Yours the authority to employ a locksmith on Client’s behalf in the event of the aforementioned occurrences. For clients who choose not to keep your key(s) on file with From Our Paws to Yours or in a coded lock box will be charged a key pickup/drop off fee of $10 for each trip.
